Remedy IT Leverages RTI's DDS Technology to Allow Companies Capitalize on Industrial Internet of Things

FREMONT, CA: Real-Time Innovations (RTI) - a provider of connectivity platform for the Industrial Internet of Things (IoT) - partners with Remedy IT, a provider of software solutions based on open standards and open architecture to help companies capitalize on the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) market.

Being a part of RTI's Services Delivery Partner (SDP) program, Remedy IT integrates RTI Connext Data-Distribution Service (DDS) technology into their AXCIOMA product. Remedy IT’s AXCIOMA is the component framework for distributed, real-time, and embedded systems that enables the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT). AXCIOMA ensures the interoperability between application components on different computing platforms and provides a scalable architecture to allow seamless additions of new transports. It provides the flexibility to emerging IIoT systems for the deployment of complex distributed systems in dynamic runtime environments.

RTI Connext DDS software provides a messaging solution optimized for communication within and between intelligent machines and devices. The core messaging infrastructure is wholly contained in libraries linked into applications. By automatically discovering each other, applications can communicate peer-to-peer. The data automatically routes between publishers and subscribers of the same data topic without the need for applications to deal with complex low-level networking details like sockets, addressing, discovery, reliability and serialization.

RTI's Connext DDS technology will accelerate Remedy IT's ability to deliver a stable, scalable infrastructure that addresses the need for component-based designs. Through this partnership, both the companies plan to leverage the competitive advantage of the DDS standard to develop next generation of IIoT systems.

"We have been working with Remedy IT for more than eight years now. We are excited to officially welcome them to our SDP program and look forward to Johnny Willemsen's presentation at our London Connext Conference 2015. The company has proven their success in the industry, offering expertise in open standards and powering real-time embedded systems. Our partnership leverages the competitive advantages of RTI's DDS technology, delivered in Remedy IT's market-leading COTS framework," says Mark Hamilton, Senior Director of Services, RTI.
